REVORAY COLOR ENHANCING
Color Enhancing Lens Technology
Trails, roads, and open terrain rarely offer clean, even light. Shadows fall across gravel, forest canopy breaks up the sky, and colors that look distinct in bright sun start to blend together the moment conditions shift. Revoray Color Enhancing lenses are built to keep that visual separation intact — not by darkening the view, but by changing how color is delivered to your eyes in the first place.
How It Works
Visible light is made up of a full range of wavelengths, and when they overlap, colors that are actually different can start to look similar — especially in mixed lighting like forest trails, gravel roads, or overcast skies.
Revoray Color Enhancing lenses selectively filter portions of that spectrum, tuned in particular around blue and green — the two ranges that carry most of the visual information outdoors. Blue governs how sky, shadow, and distance read; green covers foliage, moss, and most natural terrain. Filtering these more precisely improves how clearly your eyes can separate one from the other, without pushing the scene into an artificially saturated look.
This tuning is paired with 420nm UV protection, ahead of the 400nm most lenses on the market are built to. The extra range blocks more high-energy visible (HEV) light — the portion that contributes most to glare and eye fatigue over a long ride or a full day outdoors.
Built for Outdoor Performance
Outdoor sports demand constant visual processing — reading terrain, adjusting to changing light, reacting before you've fully thought it through. Revoray Color Enhancing lenses are built to support that by making it easier to pick out:
- Gravel from packed dirt
- Trail edges from surrounding vegetation
- Rocks and exposed roots
- Road surface texture and painted markings
- Changes in elevation and shadow
- Wet or uneven surfaces
The goal isn't a more colorful view. It's a view where the details that matter don't get lost the moment the light changes.
Precision on the Course
Golf asks for a different kind of visual read. Distance, slope, and the edges of hazards all need to register at a glance, often from far enough away that small tonal differences are what separate a good read from a guess. Revoray Color Enhancing lenses are tuned to help separate:
- Fairway contours from surrounding rough
- Bunker edges and sand traps
- Subtle breaks and slope on the green
- Ball flight against sky or tree line
- Grass texture and mowing patterns
- Shadow lines across the fairway
A fraction of a second earlier on the read changes how confidently you commit to the shot.
Sharpened by XPatina-Tech Pro
Color separation only helps if the image reaching your eye is actually sharp. Every Revoray lens — Color Enhancing included — is built on XPatina-Tech Pro, a bionic-coated lens layer designed around how light behaves once it enters the eye.
In an ordinary lens, light doesn't always converge exactly where it should. Small refraction deviations mean the focal point lands slightly off the retina, and the image you perceive is a little softer than it could be — often without you noticing, but your eyes compensate for it, which is part of why long days outdoors leave them tired.
XPatina-Tech Pro's coating corrects that path, guiding light to focus on the retina with near-zero refraction deviation. Object outlines stay closer to true, and your eyes aren't working as hard to keep them that way — which is what gives Revoray lenses their high-definition feel, on top of the color separation Color Enhancing is built around.
Why It Matters Outdoors
Light outdoors is never static. Morning haze, afternoon shade, a cloud passing overhead — all of it shifts blue and green wavelengths first, before anything else changes. A lens tuned specifically around that range holds contrast where general-purpose tints start to flatten, and with XPatina-Tech Pro underneath it, that contrast stays sharp rather than just present.
